Transpiration and Water Yield in Eucalyptus sieberi Forests of Different Age

A slight reduction in water yield following conversion of old-growth Eucalyptus sieberi dominated forest to regrowth forest has been detected in hydrographic data from catchments in the Yambulla State Forest, NSW. This research provides further evidence that harvesting and fire can alter forest water balance.
