Brisbane CRC Water Forum Seminar Series - Wednesday, 5th December 2001

The following free seminar 'The Water Erosion Prediction Project (WEPP) Development, Application and Status' presented by Dr Dennis Flanagan, USDA-Agricultural Research Service, National Soil Erosion Research Laboratory, West Lafayette, Indiana, USA will take place at Griffith University EcoCentre, Nathan, Queensland on Wednesday 5th December 2001.

SEMINAR DETAILS:
In addition to conducting field and laboratory experiments on processes
and control of soil erosion by water, Dr Dennis Clarke is also the
current leader of the WEPP project. WEPP is a physical process-based
erosion prediction model, ultimately meant to replace USLE-type
technology in the US.

This free public seminar will provide information on the development of
the WEPP model over the past 15 years, information on the the model
scientific components, types and examples of model applications and
current status of WEPP activities.
