PAST RESEARCH PROGRAMS
The initial CRC for Catchment Hydrology research programs
were undertaken during 1993 – 1999. The research
priorities were determined through a rigorous process
involving both industry and research Parties and culminated
in four research programs:
For the second round of projects (1997-1999) the Catchment
and Salt Balance program was split into two programs
‘Salinity’ and
‘Forest Hydrology’
reflecting the increased emphasis on salinity as an
issue of national importance - the issue was ranked
number one by senior industry based participants at
the CRC’s 1994 Future Issues Workshop.
Initial CRC research programs consisted of small scale
process focussed projects reflecting the industry need
to address specific problems. |
